L形罗马屋顶由两个主要空间组成：一条狭小的通道和一间宽敞的室外起居室。第一个空间使房顶通道保持连续性，并建立了一种隐私感，这要归功于巨大的墙壁。这些墙壁被认为是“城市废墟”，上面覆盖着油漆和颜料的混合物，从而造成生锈的效果。建筑师的设计策略是使用低维护的材料和成品，使其能很好地老化，并能抵御恶劣的天气。
